Please meet gorgeous Ebony. Ebony is a beautiful little Cocker Spaniel of approximately 7-8 years old. Ebony has spent her entire life in a kennel as a breeding bitch at a puppy farm, because of this when she came to us via a kind member of the public that bought her to save her, She knew nothing about being a dog! Ebony is very much a work in progress, She is the sweetest most affectionate little girl once she trusts you.
But this takes time, it’s taken her about 2 weeks to come and cuddle with me on the sofa – now you can’t keep her off! She has adjusted well to living in a house and doesn’t appear to be scared of house hold noises etc, however she needs ongoing help with house training – She will use pads and has got better but this will be ongoing. With regular walks she should pick it up quite soon. She isn’t destructive but loves socks and throws – she mouths and mothers them!
She absolutely MUST live with another dog, as being with dogs has bought her right out of her shell here, She is even beginning to run around and play. A home without kids or with older kids would suit her, She doesn’t like too much excitement. She is willing to learn and despite her past, her tail never stops wagging!
