Rosie is a 5 year old female English Cocker Spaniel. She is a lovely dog and would suit most homes. I feel she would be okay with an older dog, but dog free would be best, she loves attention and another young dog may make her jealous.
Rosie nipped an 8 year old in her previous home, but as we have no children I have been unable to see how she is with them. The incident may have stemmed from her having an ear infection which she is being treated for. I think teenager over 16 years of age would be best. I have been unable to test her recall as we as we have sheep everywhere on the farm, she walks well on the lead and is ok with other dogs she meets when out walking. She will pace when she needs to go to the toilet.
Rosie is the most chilled out cocker spaniel I have ever had, nothing seems to faze her and she loves a cuddle and to be with you all the time, she could soon become a cuddle monster given the chance. She travels well in the car and jumps straight in, and loves it if a passenger is in the car to give her attention. Rosie will play ball, but needs a treat to give it back. Rosie is a truly great dog.
Rosie is not neutered due to having just finished a season and will be rehomed with a contract to do so and not with entire males. She is chipped vaccinated wormed and flead and adoption is subject to meet and greet homecheck and adoption fee. Applications via forms section of website please.
